Develop and administer plans and processes as part of the OFR pricing & RFQ/tender management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines and policies

In this Expert Global Aid & relief Pricing position

• Execute plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy
• Respond to pricing enquiries in time and with efficient and competitive manner
• Ensure the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
• Ensure RFQ development, particularly for high priority RFQs provide detailed guidance and for critical RFQs conduct launch calls
• Assist in development of tenders and ensure on-time submission on relevant documents
• Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
• Build and secure business relationships with customers, global network and airlines/shippinglines
• Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
• Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed
• Study and resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for OFR pricing focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
  
  Stakeholders
• Connect with and influence other departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
• May convince others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
• Build strong, trusting cross-functional and cross country relationships with DHL colleagues
• Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders

• Individual contributor who may manage two or fewer employees
• May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs
• Coach and review the work of lower level professionals
  
  Now, here is what we need from you!
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• Work experience from Aid/Relief vertical either at shipping lines or competitors
• Experience Level more than 4 years.
