Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to lead the design and development of our activewear and loungewear collections. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, deeply understands fabric, fit, and function, and has a strong eye for trends, aesthetics, and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop seasonal collections for activewear and loungewear, from concept to production
- Conduct trend research and mood board creation aligned with brand identity and market trends
- Develop technical sketches, CADs, and detailed tech packs for sampling and production
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials based on performance, comfort, and aesthetic
- Collaborate closely with the product development, merchandising, and production teams
- Oversee fitting sessions and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and quality
- Maintain awareness of competitors and global fashion trends in the activewear/loungewear space
- Ensure designs meet timelines, cost targets, and brand standards
- Participate in photoshoots, marketing campaigns, and product launches when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in designing activewear, loungewear, or similar apparel
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes
- Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, and organized
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sustainable or performance fabrics
- Understanding of garment fitting and pattern making
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern fashion preferences and market trends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
