The Group Vintage has signed a franchise agreement with Marriott International, Inc. to convert the Vintage Grand Hotel to a dual-branded Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai Production City – a fast-growing business hub in the city. The property will be conveniently located just 30 minutes away from Al Maktoum Airport and Dubai International Airport, with excellent connections to every part of the city. This is set to be the largest Marriott Executive Apartments in UAE, which will bring exceptional, new F&B experiences to this location which is rapidly emerging as the heart of the New Dubai corridor, catering to both our guests and the surrounding vibrant communities.
The opening of Marriott Hotel Production City, Dubai is anticipated to mark the fifth hotel under the Marriott Hotel’s brand in Dubai. The hotel will exemplify the brand’s continued evolution and feature contemporary and intuitive spaces. Projected to open in Q4 2025, the 365 room hotel, will feature a number of dining outlets, the brand’s signature M Club lounge, a pool, fitness center and tennis court.
Marriott Executive Apartments continues to cater to the rapidly growing demand for extended stay accommodations in the UAE. Marriott Executive Apartments Production City, Dubai is anticipated to offer 420 apartments that provide home comforts for both business and leisure travelers.
F&B Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of the event services within the overall policies and controls established by the Hotel , ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered and profitability achieved.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure that the department creates a professional impression to customers and team members.
- To participate with action on Customer Service Reports relevant to your department to achieve positive and consistent results.
- To act on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility.
- To assist with the control and monitor payroll costs by ensuring rota are compiled in line with forecasted and actual business levels, using company productivity ratios and payroll management.
- To be aware of and assist with the control of departmental operating costs in line with forecasted business levels.
- To maximize opportunities for departmental sales and profit and other related targets
- To assist with stock-takes where required.
- To follow procedures for food and beverage controls at all times.
- To assist with maintaining and improving departmental operating standards.
- To ensure charges are raised for services provided in event services department on your shift in accordance with hotel and company procedures.
- To supervise the department to ensure effective operation on a day-to-day basis, whilst maintaining company brand standards consistently with attention to detail. This to include ensuring shift controls and procedures are adhered to.
- To keep yourself informed of the Hotel goals and objectives, and those of other departments, maximizing the role you play in delivering the hotel budgeted targets
- To carry out planned training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business and assist in individual team members personal development.
