The Finance & Accounts professional is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, including bookkeeping, reporting, budgeting, VAT compliance, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role ensures the financial health and regulatory compliance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in line with accounting standards
- Prepare and analyze financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll and ensure WPS compliance (for UAE)
- Handle UAE VAT filing and compliance with FTA regulations
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee day-to-day cash management
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
- 2–5 years of experience in finance/accounting roles
- Solid understanding of UAE tax laws and financial regulations
- Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills
