Job Summary:
PLUS UAE / Vortexen Dynamics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE accounting standards, tax laws, and financial management within a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and VAT filings.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and approve financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance/accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or controller position in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT laws, and corporate finance principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
