The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to oversee and ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of all vehicles in the fleet, ensuring operational readiness, compliance with safety standards, and minimal downtime. The role involves supervising workshop teams, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, managing third-party service providers, and maintaining records for fleet servicing and inspections.
JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Certification in Fleet Maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, or Auto Repair (preferred).
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Familiarity with UAE transport and safety regulations
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role in a fleet or automotive workshop
- Experience managing both light and heavy vehicles (including 4WDs, vans, trucks)
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools, fleet software, and preventive maintenance systems

Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair standards
- Ability to assess mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, hydraulics, and engine performance
Maintenance Planning & Execution
- Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and routine servicing
- Ensure quick turnaround and minimal vehicle downtime
- Track service history and monitor parts replacement cycles
Workshop & Team Supervision
- Supervise workshop technicians, assign tasks, and monitor performance
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality repair standards
- Coordinate with external service providers as needed
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and compliance checks
- Ensure vehicles meet RTA and UAE regulatory standards
- Support internal audits and safety reviews
Inventory & Resource Management
- Monitor spare parts inventory and request procurement when necessary
- Ensure efficient use of tools, materials, and consumables
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with the Fleet Manager and Admin teams to report status and needs
- Communicate repair timelines and updates to relevant stakeholders
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
- Quickly identify critical mechanical issues and make informed decisions
- Provide solutions under pressure while maintaining safety and efficiency
