- Supervise and lead site labor and subcontractors to ensure work is completed as per drawings and specifications.
- Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks to workers to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor site progress and report issues or delays to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and that workers use proper PPE and equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings and coordinate with site engineers to clarify design details.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Maintain tools, materials, and equipment inventory on site.
- Train and guide workers on proper construction techniques and safety practices.
- Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, ensuring minimal wastage.
- Maintain site discipline and enforce company policies among workers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical certificate; diploma in Civil or Construction is an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within UAE construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to read drawings.
- Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and local authority requirements.
- Basic proficiency in English (speaking, reading); knowledge of other languages like Hindi or Arabic is a plus.
