We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, repairing, and installing a wide range of wooden furniture items such as chairs, tables, cabinets, and custom pieces. This role requires a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to create furniture pieces.
- Assemble parts to form complete furniture items such as chairs, tables, cabinets, and wardrobes.
- Repair and restore damaged or worn furniture as needed.
- Sand, stain, polish, or paint wood surfaces to achieve desired finishes.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and accuracy.
- Maintain tools, machines, and work area in good condition.
- Collaborate with designers, clients, and other team members to ensure design requirements are met.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols during work.
