We are a well-established Food Manufacturing Company based in Al Ain, currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling a fast-paced working environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage financial interactions with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Create and manage quotations, purchase orders, and supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure financial documents are properly filed and accessible.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to streamline cost control and budgeting processes.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, auditors, and external consultants regarding financial matters.
- Ensure internal controls and financial policies are followed.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors when required.
- Communicate professionally via email, phone calls, and Zoom meetings
- Draft and format documents using Microsoft Word; maintain spreadsheets in Excel
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Food Manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to deal with clients, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.
- Experience in preparing quotations and dealing with different companies is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Male candidates preferred (due to accommodation and team structure).
