Job Summary:
We are seeking hardworking and reliable General Helpers to support our glass works operations. The role involves assisting skilled glass technicians with handling, cutting, installing, and finishing glass products while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist glass cutters, installers, and technicians in daily tasks.
- Handle, transport, and position glass sheets and related materials safely.
- Support in measuring, marking, and preparing glass for cutting and fitting.
- Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, tools, and finished products.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain workplace safety standards and use protective gear at all times.
- Perform basic cleaning, polishing, and finishing of glass surfaces as required.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Carry out other general duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in glass works, construction, or general labor preferred (but not mandatory).
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy materials.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and workshop practices.
- Ability to follow safety rules and supervisor instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
