The role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the development of business strategies to achieve organizational goals. Responsible for leading and overseeing the activities related to the administration, underwriting, and claims processing of general insurance policies - property, marine, engineering, liabilities.
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes that comply with UAE regulatory standards and company policies.
- Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Stay updated on UAE insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure that the firm's operations in the UAE adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to address any compliance-related matters.
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Supervise and lead a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate existing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Implement best practices and technological solutions to streamline operations.
- Work with IT teams to implement and optimize technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. - Must have MOFA attested document
- Minimum 6 years UAE Experience in operations management within the insurance industry UAE.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE insurance industry regulations and compliance.
- Effective communication skills with an understanding of local business etiquette.
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology solutions, considering local technology landscapes.
