About the Role
We’re looking for a video-first creative who knows how to tell stories through compelling edits, sharp transitions, and high-retention hooks. If you love cutting reels, working with B-roll, adding motion graphics, and polishing brand visuals, this is your zone.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks) and long-form videos (YouTube, podcasts, event recaps)
- Add subtitles, transitions, stock overlays, and branded intros/outros
- Work with scripting and voiceovers to bring ideas to life visually
- Design basic thumbnails, quote posts, or carousels when needed
- Collaborate with content strategists and marketing team to refine creative ideas
- Stay on top of trends in content styles, meme formats, and platform-native visuals
Must-Have Skills
- Expert in Video Editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and retention techniques
- Experience editing for social platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Basic graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator or Figma)
- Familiar with motion graphics or text animations (After Effects is a bonus)
- Understand brand aesthetics and storytelling with minimal supervision
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of AI tools for editing (RunwayML, Pika, Descript, etc.)
- Color correction and audio clean-up skills
- Experience working with brand templates and maintaining visual consistency
- Previous agency or startup experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
