My scope of work includes:
- I will ensure that all set policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
- I will support the Chef Concierge and focus on the rejuvenation of the residential experience.
- Common area amenities, services, and products will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- I will work in partnership with Guest Experience Maker, Guest Services, Reservations, Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, Spa, and other outsourced approved third-party service providers to ensure private homeowners’/residents’ needs are anticipated and met for the overall smooth operation of private homeowners’/residents’ living experience. Leading in the planning and execution of services and lifestyle activities involving private homeowners’/residents’ and the hotel when applicable.
- I will have a thorough knowledge of all facilities, amenities, and services offered by the hotel and residences as well as their location and layout.
- I will oversee the management of the private homeowners’/residents’ history and profile system in conjunction with the Chef Concierge.
- A high standard of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security, and emergency procedures will be maintained by myself and all hosts in line with brand and statutory requirements.
- Purchasing practices will meet the requirements of the Six Senses sustainability platform, while stock takes and storage assessment will be undertaken at the required times to ensure all stock is on hand, safely stored, and in line with Six Senses standards.
- An important part of the role is to interact with the private homeowners’/residents’ and hosts in a professional, courteous, and positive manner and proactively seek feedback. I am responsible for an exceptional private homeowners’/residents’ experience from pre-move-in, move-in, and moveout. In the event of complaints, I will effectively conduct service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of the private homeowners’/residents’ and enter them into an appropriate system or similar approved software and notify the appropriate departments.
- Interaction and communications between departments under my control and other departments within the residences are clear and effectively maintained to support the smooth running of the residences I will perform any additional duties given to me by the Chef Concierge.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Head Concierge, I have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury and residential hospitality with proven results. I possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management and more than three years of experience in a similar luxury and residential hospitality operational role.
My financial acumen positions me as a business-savvy leader with demonstrated financial understanding and interpretation of reports plus the cost and inventory
control.
Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have excellent knowledge of guest related functions, guest service and local surrounding areas.
Fluent in English; I understand that Arabic is the preferred additional language.
