Job Overview
MEBS Facility Services is seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping division to lead and coordinate housekeeping operations, ensure high cleanliness standards, and manage staff performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Staff Management:
- Direct and coordinate all housekeeping activities and staff.
- Establish and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire, and train housekeeping and cleaning staff.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure high-quality service.
Operations & Quality Control:
- Assign cleaning tasks and responsibilities for efficient and timely execution.
- Ensure that all rooms, facilities, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor and respond to customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Develop and implement safety and security protocols for housekeeping operations.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policies and participate in necessary training.
Inventory & Budget Management:
- Plan and develop housekeeping budgets, optimizing resource allocation.
- Ensure all housekeeping and cleaning supplies are stocked and ordered as needed.
- Monitor and control the use of cleaning materials to prevent waste and misuse.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Minimum Diploma or Training Certificate (a degree in Hospitality or a related field is a plus).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and able to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with customer service principles.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in housekeeping or cleaning supervision within the Facility Management (FM) industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
