Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee integrated marketing strategies designed to drive stakeholder engagement and measurable sales growth, whilst ensuring its alignment with all departmental activities.
- Oversee delegate sales and B2B matchmaking initiatives as part of event marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic marketing plans to support business growth and objectives.
- Lead brand positioning efforts and enforce consistent brand guidelines across all marketing and communications activities.
- Direct campaign planning, content creation, and the development of a compelling, consistent brand narrative.
- Drive impactful internal and external communications that resonate with diverse stakeholders and align with institutional goals.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing ROI.
- Build and execute a holistic Data and CRM strategy integrating online/offline channels and managing the prospective database.
- Manage the marketing department budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with internal departments and cross-functional teams to develop innovative campaigns that support event expansion and strategic initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights and performance updates to senior management to ensure ongoing alignment with organizational objectives.
- Champion internal and external collaboration to extend brand reach and consistently attract new business (brand stewardship).
- Maintain accountability for marketing outcomes and return on investment.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Marketing/Communications or in a relevant discipline ; a minimum of 5 years of mid-level management experience with an overall 8–10 years of marketing and communications, experience with proven track record of success in event/exhibition marketing.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, and communication strategies.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in sales-driven environments and proficiency in mass and targeted marketing tactics.
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets and deliver measurable business results.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—in English and Arabic.
