Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our consultancy team for a high-rise building project in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in high-rise construction and a solid background working with engineering/architectural consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance on-site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records.
- Ensure all site activities adhere to relevant HSE regulations and best practices.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and authorities on safety matters.
- Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions as needed.
- Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent safety certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE in a similar role.
- Proven experience in high-rise construction projects.
- Experience working with consultancy firms is required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
- Must be available to work on-site in Ras Al Khaimah.
