- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver safety training and orientation for new employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and suggesting preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management.
- Stay updated on regulations and industry trends, suggesting improvements to enhance safety culture.
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance and promote best practices.
- Participate in incident response activities and emergency drills, offering guidance during emergencies.
- Supporting with other Compliance focused documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer, in service sector Experience with ISO and other audits.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for hazard identification and preventive measures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for training and influencing employees.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for maintaining accurate records.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team
