Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to join our logistics and operations team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license and have prior experience driving across GCC countries with a strong understanding of regional traffic laws and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy trucks to transport goods across designated routes within UAE and GCC.
- Ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded safely and securely.
- Adhere strictly to traffic rules and company safety protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain delivery logs, trip records, and fuel reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel.
Requirements:
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy trucks in the UAE or GCC.
- Familiarity with GCC road systems and traffic laws.
- Ability to read and follow route maps and delivery schedules.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cross-border logistics within the GCC.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
