- Operate heavy vehicles, including , trucks, trailers,
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
- Transport materials and goods to designated locations, following scheduled routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on vehicles when necessary.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum [2] years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
- Strong understanding of vehicle operation and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
