Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations at our luxury Maldives resort. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction in a world-class island resort.
You will manage a large housekeeping team, ensure top-tier service delivery, and uphold the resort’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the entire housekeeping department
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest villas, public areas, and back-of-house
- Develop and implement effective cleaning processes and schedules
- Monitor quality control through regular inspections
- Manage housekeeping budgets and inventory control
- Train and motivate the housekeeping team to exceed guest expectations
- Liaise with other departments (Engineering, Front Office, F&B) to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of housekeeping management experience in luxury resorts or 5-star hotels
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and high service standards
- Proven ability to manage large teams effectively
- Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards
- International work experience is preferred
- Willingness to relocate and work in the Maldives full-time
