Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Indian Chef Commis I. In this role you are responsible to Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

Responsibilities:
Designation: Commis I
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
- Monitor food quality while preparing food.
- Set-up and break down work station. Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling policies.
- Maintain detailed kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
- Monitor and verify the correctness of appliance and food temperatures using appropriate tools.
- Engage safety devices before operating any kitchen equipment.
- Safely and appropriately use kitchen tools and equipment.
- Ensure personal hygiene is maintained to the highest standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
