Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage and optimize inventory operations within our furniture warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control specific to the furniture industry, with a hands-on approach to maintaining stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency..
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movement in and out of the warehouse
- Monitor stock levels and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure product availability
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies promptly
- Ensure proper labelling, storage, and tracking of all furniture items
- Generate and distribute regular inventory reports to management
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to reduce losses and damages
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho, WMS)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Familiar with barcode/RFID scanning systems

- Understanding of warehouse layout and storage practices for furniture items
- Awareness of safety regulations and proper handling techniques, especially for heavy or fragile products
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Strong communication and team collaboration
- Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly in stock discrepancy resolution
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus
