Position Overview:
Are you a detail-driven inventory expert with a strong background in FMCG? We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Inventory Manager to take ownership of our inventory operations, ensuring products are available when needed—without overstocking or waste. This role is vital to the smooth flow of our supply chain and demands a sharp mind, strong systems knowledge, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Inventory Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven inventory management strategies tailored to the fast-paced FMCG sector. Your goal: optimal stock levels, minimal waste, and smooth product flow.
- Forecast Demand: Analyze trends, seasonal patterns, and historical data to predict product needs and align replenishment schedules accordingly.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers to guarantee accurate orders and timely deliveries—resolving any supply chain issues quickly.
- Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and full audits to maintain precision and swiftly address any discrepancies.
- Performance Analysis: Produce insightful reports on KPIs such as stock turnover, inventory costs, and availability for senior leadership.
- Process Enhancement: Continuously refine inventory procedures to boost efficiency, reduce cost, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics to support campaigns, product launches, and distribution strategies.
- Team Leadership: Guide, train, and inspire a high-performing inventory team. Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and growth.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing inventory within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-first approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Excel.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage supplier relationships.
- A thorough understanding of inventory control principles and FMCG compliance standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
