Help AG is looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, validating, and governing enterprise-grade IT and cybersecurity solutions across cloud, infrastructure, security, networking, and application domains. The role requires working closely with sales teams during pre-sales engagements while also supporting delivery teams post-sales to ensure solutions are implemented successfully, securely, and in alignment with customer business outcomes.
This is a customer-facing and technically hands-on role requiring both strategic consulting skills and deep technical expertise. The Senior Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring long-term success through effective solution architecture, technical governance, and ongoing support.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Engage with clients to understand business needs, technology requirements, and pain points.
Position company solutions effectively, prepare technical proposals, and respond to RFPs.
Lead solution demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
Partner with sales teams to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across IT and security portfolios.
Articulate value propositions and align technology solutions with customer business outcomes.
Architect, validate, and document complex solutions across:
Cloud & Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud, data center modernization)
Cybersecurity (SOC, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM, PAM, Cloud Security)
Networking & OT/IT Security (firewalls, Zero Trust, ICS/SCADA security, OT cyber)
Applications & Data (application security, DevSecOps, analytics, data protection)
Establish reference architectures, frameworks, and best practices.
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, IEC 62443, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
Provide technical oversight and governance during implementation to ensure architecture adherence.
Work closely with delivery and implementation teams to resolve technical challenges.
Ensure customer success by validating that the delivered solution meets business and technical expectations.
Conduct architecture reviews, health checks, and optimization assessments.
Act as the customer’s advocate within the organization to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with OEMs, vendors, and technology partners.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes.
Contribute to internal knowledge bases, reusable solution templates, and accelerators.
Mentor junior architects and consultants, providing technical and strategic guidance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive IT solution design experience, with at least 3–5 years in an architecture or senior consulting role.
Proven track record in both pre-sales (solution positioning, proposals, PoCs) and post-sales (delivery support, governance, optimization).
Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity, OT/IT security, networking, and application security.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman).
Strong understanding of compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, PCI-DSS, IEC 62443).
Enterprise Architecture: TOGAF, SABSA (preferred).
Cloud: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect.
Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.
Strong consulting and customer engagement skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
