Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant with at least 1 year of hands-on experience using Foodics software in the UAE. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, assist in maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting tasks including data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
- Manage sales, inventory, and payment transactions through Foodics POS and back office.
- Record and reconcile cash, credit card, and online payment transactions.
- Prepare and review daily and monthly sales reports from Foodics.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assist in monthly closing and reporting processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Foodics software in the UAE.
- 1–3 years of overall accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the F&B or retail industry.
