Job Summary:
The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young learners (ages 3–6) can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. The role involves teaching foundational skills, fostering curiosity, and building positive relationships with children and parents to support early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities in line with the early years curriculum.
- Use play-based and interactive methods to promote literacy, numeracy, and cognitive skills.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression through art, music, and storytelling.
- Child Development & Well-being
- Support children’s social and emotional growth through positive guidance and behavior management.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress, identifying areas of strength and areas needing support.
- Promote good health, hygiene, and safety practices.
- Classroom Environment
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Prepare learning materials, resources, and displays to enhance engagement.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Teaching certification (where required).
- Prior experience in teaching KG/Early Years is preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
