The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the staff cafeteria and ensuring all used items like glasses, plates, and cutlery are properly cleaned and available on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the staff cafeteria is clean, organized, and ready before meal times.
- Wash and sanitize all glasses, plates, trays, and cutlery used by staff.
- Refill and arrange clean items properly for the next use.
- Remove waste and keep the cafeteria area hygienic at all times.
- Report any missing or broken items to the stewarding supervisor.
- Support the stewarding team in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
