The Job Description:
- Developing landscape design concepts and detailed plans, including site layouts, hardscape features (patios, walkways), and softscape elements (plants, trees, etc.)
- Creating 2D and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas and project plans.
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Working with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicating design concepts and plans clearly to clients and construction teams. Developing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Overseeing the installation of landscape features, including hardscape and softscape elements.
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design plans. Troubleshooting on-site issues and finding solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs
- Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of UAE experience in the landscaping based company.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite overall strong computer proficiency
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS suite of products (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolBox), and MicroStation
- Advanced 3D graphic modeling capabilities – Rhino, 3DS Max, Grasshopper
- Ability to work independently in multi-disciplinary teams
