Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods, equipment, or personnel safely and efficiently to designated locations while maintaining the vehicle in clean and working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles (light Manual) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Pick up and deliver goods/materials/people according to schedule.
- Ensure timely delivery and follow assigned routes or GPS instructions.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure).
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
- Load and unload cargo as needed (if applicable).
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and office staff.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid UAE driver’s license (Light Manual as required).
- Proven driving experience (minimum [X] years preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and local routes.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items if required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
