We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Logistics and Purchasing Support. This role involves assisting the logistics and procurement team in coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory records, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing Support:
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and collecting quotations.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on order confirmations, delivery timelines, and documentation.
- Maintain records of suppliers, products, and pricing.
Logistics Support:
- Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and suppliers to ensure timely shipments.
- Prepare shipping and customs documents as required.
- Track shipments and update relevant teams on delivery status.
- Assist in resolving delivery issues or delays.
- Support with inventory checks and stock updates.
General:
- Maintain filing systems for all procurement and logistics documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or administration preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience with shipping documentation or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement processes is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
