Gulf Orchid Perfumes is seeking an experienced and strategic Luxury Brand Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for luxury perfumes and a strong understanding of the market, with the ability to enhance brand visibility, optimize distribution strategies, and ensure our products are positioned in the right locations to maintain their exclusivity and luxury appeal. This role will focus on developing and executing brand strategies, expanding the perfume distribution network, and ensuring the right placement of products in premium market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement strong brand strategies that enhance brand awareness, market positioning, and market share in the luxury fragrance industry.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure brand alignment and consistency across all marketing channels, including digital, print, social media, and product packaging.
- Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to develop actionable strategies that ensure the brand remains a leader in the market.
Perfume Distribution Network Management:
- Expand and manage the perfume distribution network to ensure our luxury perfumes are available in high-end retail outlets, including department stores, specialty stores, and premium e-commerce platforms.
- Work closely with distributors, retailers, and agents to ensure the brand is represented in the most exclusive and prestigious locations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement an effective distribution strategy that ensures products are placed in the right locations according to brand standards and market demand.
Product Placement & Market Positioning:
- Ensure that products are strategically placed to maintain the brand's luxury image and exclusivity.
- Position products in high-end stores and premium locations, ensuring visibility and appeal to the target customers.
- Develop pricing strategies that align with the luxury market, balancing exclusivity with competitiveness to maximize profitability and desirability.
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions:
- Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that highlight the brand’s luxury image and craftsmanship, emphasizing the unique qualities of the perfumes.
- Oversee product launches and promotional activities, ensuring a consistent brand message across all channels.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies to boost brand awareness and drive sales while maintaining the luxury positioning.
Sales Support & Performance Monitoring:
- Work closely with sales teams to provide strategic insights and support to optimize sales performance.
- Track and analyse brand performance, including sales growth, distribution effectiveness, and promotional success.
- Provide detailed reports to senior management, offering recommendations for improvement and new opportunities in market positioning.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, influencers, and media partners.
- Collaborate with key industry influencers and media outlets to promote the brand and its luxury offerings.
Product Innovation & Market Adaptation:
- Work with the product development team to ensure new fragrance offerings align with consumer preferences and market trends.
- Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the luxury perfume market.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, with a strong background in luxury goods, specifically in the perfume industry.
- Proven experience in managing the distribution network and securing prime placement for luxury brands.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and partners.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and the luxury market.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to execute complex initiatives across multiple markets.
