Job Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance, the repair of specialized civil works machinery including wall saws, wire saws, coring machines, and other related equipment. Ensures that machines operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance of wallsaws, wiresaws, coring machines, and other civil equipment.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records for all equipment.
- Repairs:
- Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty parts.
- Calibrate and test machines after maintenance or repair.
- Machine Setup and Support:
- Assist operators with proper setup and alignment of machines at job sites.
- Ensure all safety features and functions are operational before use.
- Inventory and Spare Parts Management:
- Monitor inventory of tools and spare parts
- Coordinate with procurement for ordering required parts.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow company safety standards and ensure machinery complies with safety regulations.
- Identify and report potential hazards related to machine operations.
- Training & Technical Support:
- Provide basic technical training to operators on machine care and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the operations team to support site equipment needs.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining civil works machines (wallsaw, wiresaw, core drilling equipment, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to machine operation and repair.
