We are seeking a proactive and organized Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance activities of our fleet, including buses, tankers, and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles and equipment are maintained in optimal condition, coordinating with workshop teams, tracking maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate routine and preventive maintenance for all company vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, inspections, and repairs.
- Liaise with workshop technicians, mechanics, and external service providers to ensure timely and quality maintenance.
- Monitor vehicle and machinery performance to detect potential issues and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables; raise purchase requests as needed.
- Prepare reports on maintenance status, costs, and downtime.
- Assist in budgeting for maintenance operations and controlling costs.
- Coordinate breakdown support and emergency repairs.
- Ensure maintenance logs and documents are updated in the system.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in coordinating maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for buses, tankers, and construction machinery.
- Good knowledge of workshop operations and parts inventory.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance tracking software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- UAE experience in fleet maintenance coordination.
- Valid UAE driving license.
