POSITION SUMMARY
The Sustaining Engineering Manager will lead the engineering support and product data management processes for Busbar products in an Engineered-To-Order (ETO) environment. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems for managing product design data, supporting the transition from development into production, and ensuring ongoing product improvement and manufacturability.
This role will serve as the primary engineering point of contact for production issues, driving the timely resolution of engineering-related issues.
This position will be responsible for establishing the connection between SolidWorks PDM and Oracle Product Development Cloud, ensuring that engineering design data is effectively organised, governed, and accessible. While this position collaborates closely with Supply Chain and Operations, its scope is focused on engineering systems and product data. Busbar products are highly customized, requiring a strong global engineering process discipline across multiple factory locations and cross-functional coordination. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a dynamic environment combining product data management, global design support, and engineering leadership
