Position: Engineering Solutions Manager
Responsibilities:
• Identify & Recommend Solutions: Develop and recommend technical products, services, and solutions that align with business goals and meet client needs.
• Supplier Technical Review & Evaluation: Lead the technical review process for suppliers, including detailed evaluations and technical bid analysis to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Sourcing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the procurement team to establish and implement strategic sourcing strategies for technical components, materials, and services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Business Development, Bid Managers, Proposal Leads, Contract Management) and end users to ensure a deep understanding of technical requirements and specifications.
• Industry Engagement & Benchmarking: Represent the company at industry exhibitions, fostering strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor market trends and lead benchmarking activities to stay competitive.
• Bid Management Expertise: Provide technical input and insights to support the solution bid management process, ensuring the highest quality submissions.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Experience: 10–12 years of hands-on experience in a technical role with a focus on solutions engineering, bidding, or technical sourcing.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Aerospace & Defence industry, including its products, services, clients, and operational processes.
• Skills:
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
o Proven expertise in solution bid management processes and best practices, including the preparation, analysis, and submission of technical proposals.
o Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
o Strong problem-solving ability and technical acumen.
