Manager Risk Management (Contract Based)
Core Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Manage risk assessment cycles for all entities within scope.
- Manage day-to-day division operations and resourcing.
- Drive continuous improvement and capability-building initiatives.
- Prepare and present risk reports to Director– Risk Management and Resilience.
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives and maintain risk registers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
- Lead development and updates on Company Risk Appetite and Risk Tolerance.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to risk management.
- Coordinate risk mitigation projects and track progress on risk action plans.
- Supervise Sr. Specialists to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
- Provide strategic risk advisory to business units and leadership.
- Facilitate risk awareness training and build a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
Experience:
- At least 10+ years proven experience in Risk Management
- Experience in UAE or Middle East is preferred
- Team management experience is essential
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.
- Risk related Certifications like CERM, CRISC, ISO 31000 Lead Implementer, ISO 31000 Lead Auditor etc. is desirable
