As Joby's first marketing hire in the UAE, you’ll play a defining role in the launch of the world’s first commercial air taxi service. You’ll be responsible for bringing Joby to life across the UAE, one of the most dynamic countries on the planet—building excitement, awareness, and connection with future riders, partners, and the broader public. From rolling up your sleeves to manage standout events to shaping Joby's voice across social media and local brand activations, you'll be our storyteller and community builder on the ground.

Whether coordinating with production crews, managing vendors, or brainstorming with the US marketing team, you’ll have to thrive in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.
This full-time role is located in Dubai, UAE, and remote work will not be permitted. Over 15% of travel is expected to the United States or other locations as requested.
- Plan and execute memorable events, from high-profile launch activations to community-focused experiences, working with local agencies, venues, and vendors.
- Support local marketing activations and represent Joby with energy and authenticity at events, pop-ups, and public engagements.
- In coordination with our central marketing team manage and grow Joby’s local social media presence, creating engaging, timely content that reflects our mission and resonates with the UAE audience.
- Collaborate with the US-based Marketing Team to localize global campaigns and ensure brand alignment across all touchpoints
- Work alongside our US-based Marketing team and our local UAE team to discover, develop and manage brand partnerships that enhance our brand and product offering.
- Coordinate with creative agencies and production teams to deliver high-quality marketing materials, both digital and physical.
- Working alongside our local agency, support media and influencer engagement, including organizing site visits, preparing press materials, and tracking coverage.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, public sentiment, and market trends to inform ongoing strategy.
- Assist with internal communications and cross-functional marketing needs, from presentations to signage and swag.
- Stay ahead of cultural moments, tech trends, and mobility news to keep Joby relevant and inspiring in the local context.
- 6 years of experience in marketing, communications, brand management, or event production—preferably in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
- A natural storyteller with a sharp eye for design, detail, and tone.
- Proven experience managing or supporting successful social media campaigns and/or brand activations.
- Confident working independently and as part of a globally distributed team.
- Experience collaborating with vendors, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and timelines—organized, proactive, and unfazed by tight deadlines.
- Must be based in Dubai and open to occasional travel (15–20%) to the U.S. or other international locations.
- Bonus points for experience in mobility, aviation, luxury, tech, or lifestyle brands.
