Mason

We are looking for an experienced Mason to join our Maintenance Team. The Mason will be responsible for performing masonry repair and maintenance tasks across our properties. This includes repairing walls, floors, tiles, concrete structures, and performing general masonry works to ensure all properties remain in excellent condition. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in masonry, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle minor construction and repair work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and identify masonry-related repair needs across properties.
• Repair and maintain brickwork, blockwork, stonework, concrete surfaces, and tile work.
• Rebuild or repair damaged walls, partitions, flooring, steps, and pavements.
• Prepare surfaces and mix appropriate mortar or adhesives.
• Lay bricks, blocks, tiles, and stones as needed for maintenance and minor construction work.
• Repair or replace cracked or damaged tiles and grout in bathrooms, kitchens, and other tiled areas.
• Perform plastering, patching, and surface finishing as required.
• Install or repair minor concrete structures such as ramps, curbs, or planters.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members (painters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians) on multi-trade tasks.
• Maintain inventory of masonry tools and materials.
• Ensure all masonry work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas during and after completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mason, preferably in a building maintenance or facilities management role.
• Skilled in a wide range of masonry techniques including bricklaying, blockwork, stonework, tiling, plastering, and concrete work.
• Ability to read basic construction/repair drawings and job specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in residential, commercial, or mixed-use property maintenance.
• Familiarity with other basic maintenance tasks (painting, minor carpentry, waterproofing) is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,300.00 per month
