About the Role –
We are specifically looking for tutors with proven expertise in guiding students through the challenging IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IB) Math curricula. As a GetYourTutors Secondary Math Tutor, you will:
- Provide personalized, one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions to secondary school students.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Deepen students’ understanding of complex mathematical concepts across various topics.
- Prepare students effectively for IGCSE and IB examinations, focusing on exam techniques and content mastery.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate regularly with parents.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and confidence-building learning environment.
What We’re Looking For –
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience teaching and tutoring Secondary Math, with specific expertise in the IGCSE and IB curricula (Standard Level and Higher Level).
- In-depth knowledge of IGCSE Additional Mathematics, Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, IB Math Analysis and Approaches (AA) or IB Math Applications and Interpretation (AI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
- Strong organizational skills and reliability.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience in Dubai or the UAE is a plus.
