A reputed International School in Abu Dhabi (UAE) is looking for a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher with experience in teaching IGCSE & A-Level students. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Math and physics, along with a natural ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging, student-friendly way.
This is a permanent, full-time role designed to support students in examination preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Math lessons aligned with the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum
- Develop engaging lesson plans that break down complex math and physics concepts.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to help students reach their academic goals.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and inspired.
- Incorporate real-life examples and applications of math and physics to spark curiosity and critical thinking.
- Offer additional help sessions to students who need extra support.
- Collaborate with academic staff to ensure consistency and excellence in curriculum delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Mathematics along with BEd or an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Secondary Maths.
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level math (Year 7 to 11)
- Excellent communication skills - Must be Fluent and near-native English Speaker.
- A genuine passion for education and student success.
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools and digital platforms.
