We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman with experience in industrial and building services to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a 3-6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of UAE/GCC experience and proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and drafting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings for industrial and building projects (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).
- Work with engineers to develop design concepts into technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with UAE/GCC standards and project specifications.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and site requirements.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, civil) for integrated designs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to deadlines.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
- 3-4 years of UAE/GCC experience in industrial/building services drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), and other CAD tools.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability for a short-term contract in Abu Dhabi.
