Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project coordination, with proficiency in various construction management software. This role is crucial for ensuring that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the successful completion of our projects.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate all MEP activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Utilize HeavyBid for accurate project bidding and cost estimation.
- Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion of MEP installations.
- Collaborate with project teams using ProCore for efficient communication and documentation.
- Implement Bluebeam for reviewing plans, managing submittals, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety standards.
- Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall construction process.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Ability to work on-site at construction locations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Familiarity with contract management processes related to MEP installations is preferred.
- A degree in engineering or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
