Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation & Delivery:
- Safely drive light vehicles to transport goods, materials, and equipment between the warehouse and various locations, including holiday homes.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods for warehouse operations.
- Transport linens, amenities, and supplies to holiday homes, ensuring they are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform regular checks and maintenance on assigned vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any vehicle issues, breakdowns, or damage to the supervisor/ manager immediately.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, deliveries, and any issues encountered during transportation.
- Ensure all transportation-related paperwork is completed and submitted on time (e.g., delivery receipts, vehicle logs, etc.).
- Warehouse Support:
- Assist in loading and unloading goods and materials in and out of the warehouse.
- Help organize and store supplies and products within the warehouse as required.
- Adherence to Safety Standards:
- Follow all road safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
- Ensure all safety measures are in place for loading, unloading, and transporting goods.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service to all customers, ensuring that goods are delivered in a professional manner and maintaining a positive company image.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid light vehicle driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a light vehicle driver, preferably in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of local routes and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items when required.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
