We are looking for a motivated and versatile Kitchen Assistant / Cook with experience in preparing a variety of foods including sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza, snacks, basic juices, and milkshakes. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about food, consistent in quality, and open to learning new cuisines and expanding their culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble:
- Sandwiches, burgers, and wraps
- Fresh salads and dressings
- Pasta dishes with various sauces
- Pizzas (basic to intermediate level)
- Fry items (e.g., fries, nuggets, snacks) to perfection
- Make fresh juices, smoothies, and milkshakes
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Follow recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food prep and storage
- Be open to learning new recipes and cuisines as part of menu expansion
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen or café environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on new culinary challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in fast casual or multi-cuisine kitchens
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong English communication (speaking, reading, and writing)
Candidate must be currently located in Dubai.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
