Roles and Responsibilities :
- He had basic knowledge in ASME SECTION V (Nondestructive Examination) & acceptance criteria of applicable CODE.
- Responsible for daily NDT inspection activities
- Responsible for NDT plan or NDT matrix submission
- He must work as an interface between ndt technician and clients.
- A daily inspection log shall be maintained and monitor the activities.
- He has to ensure that daily NDT reports are updated in system and signed reports are compiling on sequence order.
- Responsible for ensuring the calibration of NDT equipments.
- Responsible for ensuring the expiry dates of NDT consumables.
- Responsible for maintaining updated NDT request & status.
- Responsible for circulating the daily NDT status to project management team.
- If any repair, RCA shall be prepared and submitted to PMT/CONTRACTOR/COMPANY.
- If any repair, responsible for conducting toolbox concern team.
- ASNT ACCP Level III, or CSWIP Level II in RTFI with 5 years’ experience after certification.
Minimum Requirements:
- Engineering Diploma or Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years and above’ experience with recorded details
- ASNT LEVEL II (RT, UT,MPI,DPT & VT) or equivalent as Minimum. Familiar with Construction codes
- ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.1, ASME Sec V, ASME Sec VIII, ASME B 31.4, API 1104, AWS D1.1 etc
