Job Purpose:
The Business Development & Operations Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and overseeing the operational execution of elevator and escalator projects. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring the timely delivery and maintenance of vertical transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction, real estate, and facility management sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and government entities.
- Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets for new installations, modernization, and maintenance contracts.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads.
Operations & Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of elevator and escalator systems.
- Monitor maintenance and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, documentation, and compliance with UAE regulations and safety standards.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for pricing, specifications, and lead times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; MBA is a plus.
- 3–7 years of experience in business development or operations in the elevator/escalator industry (GCC experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of elevator/escalator systems, specifications, and local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DCD).
- Proven track record in sales, client acquisition, or project execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- UAE Driving License is mandatory.
