The Role:
Deliver essential air-ground communication services and oversee operational coordination for our vertiport network from the central operations control centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communications Services:
- Provide Air Ground Communications Service (AGCS)
- Establish, maintain, and close down communications
- Provide traffic and weather information
- Operate communications equipment
- Operations Coordination:
- Coordinate stand allocation
- Coordinate facilities management and aviation security issues
- Communicate and coordinate vertiport emergency plans
- Provide weather data to vertiport operations
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate aircraft movement records
- Record and distribute NOTAMs
- Maintain state of readiness for emergency response
- Multi-site Coordination:
- Coordinate operations across multiple vertiport sites
- Maintain direct communication with LOs during operating hours
- Support vertiport network operational efficiency
About You:
- Air traffic control or aviation communications experience
- Radio operator certification
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Experience with aviation weather systems
- Ability to work in high-stress environment
- Shift work flexibility required
- Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
