Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Paint Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in paint industry sales and deep knowledge of paint products, applications, and market dynamics. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the paint industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, painters, retailers, and commercial clients
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking and market research
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical guidance on paint specifications and applications
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific paint requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in the paint industry or related building materials sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of paint products, color matching, and application techniques
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling premium paint brands.
- Established network of contacts in the painting and construction industry
- Knowledge of architectural coatings and industrial paint applications
- Previous experience in B2B sales and account management
