Organization Unit Purpose
The payroll department takes care of wage deductions, record keeping and verifying the reliability of pay data.
The payroll department delivers payroll checks, records paperwork for new hires and edits existing employee files. Payroll professionals are also responsible for calculating reimbursements, bonuses, overtime, and holiday pay.
Job Purpose
- Processes an organization’s payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Creates and maintains employees' payroll records.
- Calculations wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records.
- Checks payroll information into central system for processing.
- Completes payroll reconciliation before confirming the payout to be released.
Job Responsibilities:
- Processes company's payroll every pay period.
- Maintains payroll processing system and ensure records are checked which the maker has entered.
- Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
- Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences.
- Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.
- Honors confidentiality of employees' pay records.
- Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
- Supervises other payroll clerks and employees as needed.
- Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
- Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
- Global Leadership Rotation ensuring the changes are reflected as per the policy.
- Salary Pool Template on the distribution of the balances are verified and informed to the respective HR Business.
- MRT employee’s documentation to be adhered and ensured the staff records are paid as per contract.
Education
Masters or bachelor’s in finance
Experiences
2 - 4 years of experience.

- Experience with processing of salary payment.
- Significant experience in payroll duties and responsibilities
- Has knowledge when it comes to Payroll system within the organization.
- 2-4 years’ experience processing multi-state payroll.
- Knowledge on Cloud Management system.
