Job Responsibilities:
- Perform venepuncture and microcollection techniques to collect blood specimens
- Verify patient identity and match it to lab requisitions before sampling
- Accurately identify and select appropriate collection tubes (color-coded) per test requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and workflow of blood collection rooms, ensuring EHS compliance
- Support hazardous material handling, risk assessments, and safety reporting as per laboratory protocols.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in approved phlebotomy program, Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (1 year) or degree in health-related field
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience in a reputable clinical setting
- Professional license: DOH/HAAD license mandatory, or eligibility to obtain one upon hiring
